Gray told to look around???

If I'm not mistaken Bullock is already enrolled for this current semester. That means he is probably already started using his scholarship or walked on and painfully his way. But I do believe he was on the list of the 7 early enrollees, that article is on Volnation.

May have him confused with Blanc.

Yeah your right. I got it wrong. I seen something the otherday of him saying he can't wait to get here and start kicking and help our special teams, but I knew we done had a Knoxville kid already enroll.

Gray may be the next honey badger.

Or the next C.J. Fleming.

If he wasn't committed to UT you wouldn't even know who he was.

There are alot of project players out there. We need immediate help. Gray would automatically need to redshirt because he is so raw.

Bonner has a chance to at least supply depth. McNeil will play for sure. We will probably go after 4-5 DBs in 2013.

Only person I could see possibly being told to look around is Justin King. We could use more LB's, but he was one of earlier commits and if we told Henderson to look elsewhere then it wouldn't surprise if King is told to looks elsewhere too.

King will be a Vol.. I think the staff really like his potential.. Dudes an athlete

I don't think King will be asked either.

I hope Gray isn't. I like what he brings in raw ability. In his video, he seems to "out-athlete" Florida HS competition. They had skills... but he made up for his lack of skills with pure athleticism. As others have said, you cannot teach that.

Based on what? His top four consists of MSU, Ole Miss, Southern Miss, and Tennessee. Unless he gave his verbal at MSU this weekend (possible), I've seen nothing to indicate this.

OxfordVol (26) 12:12 PM Yesterday (#P)

I recently talked with someone very close to the browns and they said Richie has eliminated UT. He will not be a vol. he is a slight lean to OM right now. Look for him to be a Rebel. I hate to be the bearer of the news.

From the Brown thread.TIFWIW

Hubbs said that Gray's visit to West Virginia was a surprise. He said he would be surprised if he is in the class. Who knows....

He is almost a sure fire Ole Piss lock. Per a few posters on here.

We have not been a factor with Richie Brown. He was always going to stay in state. Where did this optimism come from?

Am I the only one that thinks that nick name is just gay?

In response to the OP, I'd say no.. No offense intended to the OP but wouldn't this have been better off in the recruits thread? That thread title just looks bad..

Faster than Pig and Que W.?

Scout has him running a 4.37 forty and is reportedly faster than that. He was faster in camp than the two five star cornerbacks from FL. (Neither ran close in several head to head forty races.)

For GrAy to be the next HB, they will have to shorten him by about 6". That will not help his speed :)
I know what was intended, underrated recruit that blows it up. Think Gray has a higher ceiling than the HB btw. Tall, fast beats short and fast.

If he visited WVU it has to be a grades issue. Anyone can get into WVU. I think you have to score a min of 13 or 14 on the ACT to get in. Trust me if my slow ass cousin got in at WVU a rock can........or Pacman Jones. Waterhead Vocational University

Or he could have been told to find a new spot. No one knows yet.

I hope he isn't asked to look else where. A guy reportedly faster than a 4.37 has a place on the roster barring any eligibility issues.

Guys Gray has NEVER been solid. As soon as he committed to us he talked about talking a visit to Nebraska. Guys from South Florida don't seem to pan out at Tennessee or become NFL players after enrolling at Tennessee, I am sure there are exceptions. Hopefully Maggit and J. Williams change that in the near future. This kid is easily replaceable and I was never excited about his commitment. BTW he is raw, he has ridiculous speed, but will definitely be redshirted next year.

Justin King is a top 50 athlete. He will provide quality depth for us and I definitely want him in the class. If he bulks up he could see time at DE. The guy will be involved one way or another and seems like a competitor to me.
