Just an FYI if anyone is interested. I don't seem to get many Celtics games on TV so I'm anxious to get to watch Grant play tonight.

They have dropped a little lately, I would guess he is averaging about 7 minutes a game. Sometimes 10 one game, 3 the next. If he starts hitting some 3s, with how he produces everywhete else, he would get more pt, imo
Interesting. Thanks for the info. I can now set my expectations accordingly. lol.

Good hustle on that rebound/put back 3 pt play... And we know he can make his free throws! He hasn't really had an outside look yet, but he's spending a lot of time at the right side of the arc.

Since Kanter came back Grants minutes have shortened. What we know about him tho is that he makes plays and makes others around him better. Kanter can do the first but not the second. Imo
Is Grant Williams in danger of being pushed out of the rotation?

Kanter is a decent passer so in a way he does make others around him better (offensively). The knock on him is that he's a liability on defense but maybe Grant hasn't quite gotten to the point where he can take that many minutes from a 9 year veteran yet.

Good points. To add to the conversation, rookies aren’t usually allowed to be as physical as guys that have been around either. And a lot of his game on both ends is putting a body on guys.
His best games are 2-5 years from now. Imo

He played much of the third and fourth Q that I saw. And he was put in to be the inbounds man at the end of the game. During that time Kanter only came in once I saw, to rebound on last minute FTs.

The Celtics need to play Grant, Tacko, and Edwards more. That's what the people want...

He averages almost 16 minutes a game which is pretty good for a rookie, it takes a while to acclimate to the NBA game.

I know they want him to play on the perimeter, but I think he’d be best suited playing on the block for them. He can score against any size, and is good enough defensively to make up for the lack of height.
