Grant holding press conference

I think he needs to stay another year to work on his jump shot. His position in the NBA demands having a better jumper. But yeah, if people are projecting him to go in the first round, then yeah, should go.
If he comes back, he isn't going to be put out on the perimeter to work on his jump shot. He is going to be used in our offense the way he always has.

Many players have a conference to announce they are going pro. I think we are a little blinded by the favorability of the Peyton Presser back in the day.
I just haven't paid that much attention to how others have done it in the past. Just haven't seen it done here at UT.

Grant's too smart and has to realize a press conference to state he's leaving wouldn't endear him, so I'm with the he's staying crowd. Good news for us! Now, if Bone decides he needs to fine tune his game.......................

And he might pull a manning like presser on us. Never know. Seems it's either that or he's going no matter what. You don't hold a press conference to tell people that you may or may not be coming back. It's usually one or the other.

I bet it’s a focus of his this entire off season and he doesn’t turn down nearly as many of those open looks though.

I agree, up to a point, but there would only be value added for him to shoot the 3 when he was open. It would help his stock tremendously, and it would help the team - that is if he could actually hit the shot consistently.
