lots of commentary without playing it.

How long it took to come out won't affect my view of it. Plan to buy soon.

I'm still gonna pick it up, just read a bunch of less than stellar reviews.

most of the reviews I've read are along the lines that it is outstanding but given the delays it should be more outstanding (perfect) therefore it's not outstanding.

Personally, all I care about is how it performs and most of what I can tell from reviews is highly positive.

IOW it's getting dinged for not being super outstanding since it was delayed so much.

this game is gran turismo. no big major changes. if you like the series, you will enjoy this game immensely. like all the other gt games, its not easy at all. to get gold on just half of the license challenges is near impossible. i'd love to try this out with a nice wheel set up.

in all honesty, i had just as much fun playing nfs hp though.

I have it but I have not gotten online to play yet. Seems to be a pretty good game. I have never had any of the past Gran Turismo games so don't know how much better it is than the last.

Going to rent this tonite to see if I like it better than Forza3 or not. Been wanting to try it out properly
