Not to make light of the situation Gramps, but precedence has already been set on VolNation that posters are allowed to take their ball and go home... but then later return. The point being, based on the 70+ posts I've already read there is zero doubt that you will be graciously welcomed back.

I don't know your situation, but please know that you and your family will be in my prayers. I have always respected your posts for two primary reasons... you express what you have to say with candor, but more importantly you also manage to express what you say with kindness.

Man this made me tear up. Gramps, I'm praying for you and your family buddy. Don't give up. Doctors are often wrong.

I am sorry to read this. Your common sense and sense of humor will be missed here.

I hope your doctors are wrong and you will come back often to share with us how puzzled they are. Take care and God bless.

Gramps, all of VN never saw this coming. You sir will be missed with your candor and integrity. You were a solid poster and I pray to GOD you make a swift recovery and come back to us. The Politics forum will never be the same without you.

I would think freak would have access to it, maybe he can email him and keep us updated on gramps health??

I sure hope he gets a 2nd opinion plus a re-check of any lab tests -- I too have been thinking alot about him and wish I could help in some way.

Thanks for all the kind words and prayers. I do appreciate it. My doc is setting me up to see a specialist in the field, hopefully it will be this coming week. I will update when I see him. I plan on checking in VN at least once a week.

What is odd, at least IMO is I feel pretty good. I actually feel better than I did in most of 2014. I am going to see this specialist, see if he agrees with my docs diagnosis and go from there.
