Dooley has keep all his recruits and let several left overs go, they are making grades and staying in school which if left alone will produce championships, the big pic, is grads!!! And seniors win !,, he needs to have a senior field year!!!!:clapping:

Winning = $$$$
For 3 straight years attendance has dropped due to the product on the field, time to remove the coach responsible for this and get one who is more driven and dedicated to winning.

Not sure DD isn't "driven or dedicated to winning." He just isn't what Tennessee needs right now. I hope he succeeds elsewhere, but Tennessee is cutting ties with him.

On this same note I heard some talk sports show saying UT might be bowl banned next year because of percentage of grads. They were saying that because of so many players leaving, dismissals etc. we could be ineligible next year. Anybody heard or know anything about this?

Bowl bans are only relevant to teams that can win at least six games.

That would be an excellent thing for other schools to use in recruiting. "Not only do they suck on the field, they are literally too stupid to play in a bowl game!"

I'm not sure you understood the issue. Relatively few of the player's we've had leave have left due to grades. It's not a stupid thing, it's a product of multiple coaching changes.

I just couldn't ignore it since the OP is talking about making grades and graduating players.

Sadly it's not even because they are stupid (only a scant few are). It's solely because we haven't been able to keep them here. That's what 3 coaches in 3 years will do. At least we won't have to worry about coaching related attrition again any time soon....oh wait.

Vandy excuse thread. I'm all for graduating but I don't want to sound like Vandybilt.
