To be fair, Douglas and Pope were Fulmer recruits....but, yeah, Kiff's first class has had a pretty disappointing turnout.

Tyler Bray, Corey Miller, JaWuan James, Zach Fulton, Matt Milton, Jacques Smith, Eric Gordon, Marsalis Teague, Naz Oliver, Channing Fugate, etc. The list goes on. This goes both ways.

However Askew, Pope, and Douglas don't belong on that list.

Yeah good point, but still the whole nucleas of the 2009 recruiting class is virtually gone.

I would have rather been 5-7 with Fulmer than go 7-6 with Kiffin, who left after one year and got the program into a deep amount of NCAA problems. At least Fulmer was a true Vol and cared about the team

I was a big Kiffin supporter but the way be left and all the BS violations opened my eyes and all that lil douche has proven is, he can recruit but he's a ****ty coach and even worse judge of character!! In Dooley I trust!!

Yes. Askew belongs on that list. He is one of the guys CLK re-recruited while cutting other guys loose.

Kiffin's 09 class had two 5*. Brown gone. JJ maybe.

It had nine 4*. Five are gone and if you want to play your Kiffin's guys vs Fulmer's guys... two of the remaining 4 were Fulmer's.

I know it bugs you, SGM, and others to no end but Kiffin is mortal and very, very fallible when it comes to recruiting.

Not on the 09 class. No one who signed that year was someone who Kiffin didn't want. He took over before any EE's could have arrived. He had about 3 weeks during the December quiet period to review the commits and decide who to keep. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM signed an LOI to UT because Kiffin wanted them.

The EE's last year were at UT because of Kiffin. I don't know if they could have left or not... but they didn't. They apparently wanted to be at UT in spite of O's attempts to get them to follow them to USC.
