Phil Is our coach and i am behind him 100%,when somthing goes bad you always have to blame the coach we blamed Randy Sanders and look what he is doing now Woodsen gives all his credit to Randy,this is what makes Tennessee Football Crappy always having to hear this BS if your gonna talk it wait till the season is over instead of during the Season,so why dont we put as much effort into Rooting for this Team that is back in the Hunt for the SEC .As you fulmer Basher's do in trying to get him Fired.

All I am getting out of your post is that we should've fired Fulmer and kept Randy Sanders as a QB coach. We will probably see the same thing happen this year when Phil offers up a sacrificial lamb or two from the staff and they then wind-up being successful elsewhere.

I agree with you VH, unless the unbelievable happens and somehow we win out...then we may be stuck with the same old coaches. I hope we can at least find a replacement for slade.

I don't really remember too many people, if any, saying that Randy Sanders couldn't coach quarterbacks. It certainly wasn't why he got fired and wasn't why everyone hated him. Sure he helped ruin Erik Ainge's head in 2005, but that wasn't just him. Ironically enough.

Let him become the offensive coordinator and control the whole offense at Kentucky and see how he does. Then again, it'll be different because there aren't expectations there like there are here so how can you gauge?

The Same people Bashing Fulmer will be the same people bashing the new coach when we get one. There will be those that will Bash MH for making the wrong decision on the Coach he hires. There will be those that Bash just to Bash.
There are so many Fulmer haters on this Board that they can’t wait for him to do something so they can jump on here and write about it. They write about the simplest things, such as him being happy after a Win over a Spurrier team. They bash him, for the use of the word, Heck. Anything and Everything they can bash the Coaching staff they will. This is only speculation but, I seen a post talking about how Coach Mark Richt used the celebration penalty to fire up his team and how CPF would never do something so imaginative, yet these same people would have Ridiculed CPF if he had done something like that due to the 30 yard penalty it caused. These people have no lives and have nothing better to do than to knit pick and try to be heard.
I said before the season started to my dad that we should take a blank check down to Tampa and give it to Gruden and have him fill in the thing with what ever amount would get him in Tennessee. I’m also not against keeping Fulmer and getting rid of Chavis and Slade and hiring a Special Teams Coach. What ever the case, I’m sure MH will make the right decision. I’m not so arrogant to think that I can do his job better than he can, unlike some of the posters you will find on this board.

Because we gave up over 500 yards to the 93 ranked offense in the country. This was a team that only managed 6 points against Vandy.

Are you saying that all of the so-called Fulmer bashers should not be entitled to their opinions since they have 'no lives and have nothing better to do'? I understand those that support Fulmer and those that do not but those that think no one should express their opinions are the worst, IMO. After all, opinions are what this message board is built on.

I thought mumpy's thread had a distinctly different ring to it than volattic's. Mumpy was bashing the bashers while saying that he doesn't have a clue how to fix things, while volattic was selling the koolade. Such is life in the age of rampant mergers.

Saying I wasn't so arrogant to think I could do a better job than Mike Hamilton with the decision he needs to make is a Far Cry from saying I don't have a clue how to fix things.

Fulmer bashers have their opinions, I could care less about the opinion but you do have one and I agree with you about that is what threads are for. I'm basically bashing the bashers that have nothing better to do than to Knit pick the simplest things such as the examples I described.

It wasn't really the point of this thread but I am tired of seeing so many props given to Randy Sanders over the moderate amount of success that Kentucky and Andre Woodson have had this year.....Nobody ever said that Sanders was a bad position coach to begin with and Fulmer kept him on the staff for 12 years and as Off Coordinator for 7 years....I don't think he would have done that if there were doubts about his ability....Our offense was the worst in the history of the program in '05 and a change had to be made - even Sanders acknowledged that...By the way, Woodson was a turnover machine on Saturday but none of Sanders apologists will mention that because the whole point of lifting up Sanders is to bring down Fulmer and that is still en vogue.

fulmer, chavis, sander it does not matter we will complain until we win another NC. granted that is why i love ut football, the passion and the drive, but then again chill out until we get hard nose players who will give all on every down now matter the situation. LIO sorry about My grammer but can i get a kiss you seem to give everyone else.
