I wasn't blown away by the pilot but I'll give it more time. They showed a lot of the villains just in the pilot. Penguin, Poison Ivy, Cat Woman, Fish Mooney. Not sure who Barbara is or what she's done. Do they plan on keeping the show in this time period or advancing it forward at some point?

Really enjoyed it! The feel is right has a mixture between the original Batman (Keaton) film and the animated series.

I saw a 30 minute special on the show a couple of days ago and they said they wanted a timeless feel. They said clothes from 50's-90's, cars from the 60's-present yet with modern things like cell phones etc...

I like the kid that plays the Penguin, every time I've seen him in something I've thought "this dude has some serious crazy in his eyes" Really good start to the series.

I don't get it, did you all really find this show to be very entertaining and possessing a lot of future potential or something?

I just wasn't seeing it, at least not in that pilot.

Barbara is Gordon's future wife. Detective Montoya is a lesbian, so the suggestion is that she and Barbara had a previous relationship.

Yes. I thought this was miles better than Agents of SHIELD, just to use a reference.

It's basically going to cover the formative years of all of the principal players in the Batman universe - something I think will hold viewers. I do agree that they were over aggressive in introducing so many characters in the first episode.

Any word on how the 1st episode did nationally?
