I work at a golf course in Weaverville North Carolina. Joey was up for the day to go to a wedding and was passing some time with a morning round of golf. Super nice and very humble guy. He said he was ready for the challenge and couldn’t wait to get started. Thinks he’ll be a great fit in Heup’s system.. Seemed like an awesome person! Made my day!

Said this in other places - can't remember if I said it here or not - but I'll say it again: I have no idea how things are going to work out for Joey Aguilar the quarterback at the University of Tennessee? But Joey Aguilar the person seems to be infinitely better than and an upgrade on Nico the Snake.

I know how he's going to do.

He comes into a better situation than he could possibly imagine. This offense was designed not for Nico's skill set, but for Joey's.

Could Brett Favre succeed here? Johnny Manziel? Baker Mayfield?

If yes, then Joey will.

Interestingly, Coach Heupel, who designed the offense, spent huge time and effort to specifically get Nico. Maybe he just doesn't know his own offense?

He must have an amazing grasp of the playbook to feel good enough to spend that amount of time on a round of golf and a wedding.
