Looks like Pig Howard is more game ready. Put Devrin in the slot, don't play Watson at all, I don't think the coaches trust Croom yet . He is not a good route runner, lacks speed and is a slow learner , but physically has unlimited potential. These are the reasons why he was not ranked higher in recruiting

While its obvious that 84 & 11 need a break every once in a while, if the coaches thought Croom would give us a better chance he would be out there. I know everyone on the board loves the kid because of his size and MZTerry, but it takes time to learn to play in this league, no matter how talented.

I hope we seem him on the field before the end of the year, but no one posting on this board knows how he's doing in practice.

Rogers would be fine in the slot, he knows all the plays, has some speed, its just his hands of stone slowing him down.

I believe he was in that last series when Worley was at QB. Not sure how that applies with redshirting. If your'e in on one play, does that negate any hope of redshirting?

All we need to do is keep the ball in Hunter , Patterson, Rivera, and Brays hands.

I have serious doubts that you like anything about UT. All you do is put down our players and our coaches. You are a parasite to people who actually like this University.
By the way, McCullers didn't look that winded when he rand down Driskell 20 yards down field.

I used to think that about Fade as well, but I learned with time that he is the definition of a devil's advocate. And you come to take 80% of what he says very lightly.

100% agreed. CP also needs more touches. Let's focus on our established playmakers 1st before worrying about incorporating more.
That is not a knock against Croom it's just he'll have an easier time incorporating into a well oiled machine than one hitting on one (JH) cylinder.

What about McCullers makes you think that he's a good fit for stopping a spread offense where they attack the edges and get the ball out of the QB's hands really fast?

The reason that McCullers played little against Akron is that we have developed a jumbo package with McCullers at Tight End and Tugboat at H-Back. You are going to love it.

According to the rules I have been able to find regarding red shirts....if you play a down you cannot use a red shirt.

If you are injured, then you can apply for a medical red shirt.

So...it seems to me the standard red shirt is burned, not sure if there is an injury that will enable a medicla red shirt (related to hammy).

Someone post a 10% play rule and still beling able to red shirts...but that is not listed anywhere in the rule book, only in blogs or discussions on boards.

Fade is not even a UT fan. He is a gator named Ox E. Moron from GatorSports.com Their board is really slow these days so he spends all his time over here pretending to be a Vol.

I know........he has a sad little life.

Doesn't matter until Bray starts looking for the open receiver in pressure situations rather than going to Hunter regardless. IMHO, this is THE number one problem with this team right now even considering the D problems.

We knew UT had to outscore opponents. That's not news. However everyone seemed to feel that Bray had matured as a QB. Against, NCSU, Akron, and GSU it looked like he had. Didn't he hit 11 receivers or something vs NCSU? Against UF he looked like the same ol' Bray trying to force it in rather than following his progressions.

UGA, like UF, will probably bracket Hunter when UT needs a conversion. They'll give help with CP. Someone will be open. Even if the conversion is not made... Bray MUST hit those open receivers to make UGA defend them.

ZR has played well so far. I didn't get to see the Akron game but do not recall him dropping a ball so far whereas Hunter has dropped multiple and CP dropped a potential gamechanger vs UF. Rivera and Downs are quality receivers. UT has 3 RB's that can catch the ball.

UT has other receivers who can make a play if given a chance. Bray MUST hit the open man.

Unfortunately Rogers caught the dropsies at the end of the Akron game. He did have a remarkable catch over an Akron defender which a team like UGA would likely intercept or at least break up. I agree though Bray needs to be better and CP absolutely must see more catches. I'll restate the sentiment already posted though Rivera before Rogers is our number one concern for a number 3 option.
