Got No Problem (Josh Dobbs discussion merged)

Everyone likes to talk about how bad the line is so how many times has dobbs been sacked??? Not so much huh? He should have been starting from f****** day one!!!!

I'd guess the two turnovers indicate what the coaches were afraid of.

One was a freak play with a helmet popping out a football and the other he was throwing up a Hail Mary trying to score with us getting drilled. I would much rather have those then Worley taking 3 sacks a game atleast bc he will not throw it away or holds it to long. Dobbs is our best chance to win going forward and it's not remotely close.

Bad pass there. No doubt he's not perfect but IMO he gives us the best chance to make a bowl and may be the real deal with a full offseason of first team prep. He takes pressure off the oline and opens up the rest of the offense significantly. Huge improvement over Worley in my opinion.

The offensive line is looking better because of Dobbs' mobility and threat to run...the defensive line can't simply pin their ears back and speed rush past our offensive line.

Kid is a warrior and gave his all for UT. Please, stfu.

The criticism is a legitimate point. If he had run the ball more it would have taken pressure off the line. Plus throwing INTs in tr endzone is inexcusable for a SR qb. And he is as bad as Matt Sims.

So HERE's the million dollar question.....

Assuming Worley is healthy next week, do we have a qb controversy? Who starts??

That will tell the story of this coaching staff. The offense is clearly playing with a totally different attitude.

The way he has moved the ball yea he made a few bad throwsbbut the best Qb play so far thru the year thus far and the Playbook looking a ton better also makes our line good

Those last two passes at the goal line looked more like last year's Dobbs. The first was way out in front and the second on the slant pattern was behind the receiver (wide open), costing us a touchdown. I have seen ALL of the positive in his play tonight. Just hope he can have consistent accuracy in the passing game.

He has looked god but the throw behind North on the slant was probably why he has been buried on the depth chart.

If Worley was in there we'd still be scoreless

Got to be Dobbs. He adds a new development in the run game. He will get better with his accuracy as he gets more reps. This is his first in game action. Let's roll with the dob goblin

Is Dobbs perfect, hell no. That slant should have been a td, and nobody knows it more than him. He should be getting ALL of the first team reps going forward and his accuracy should improve. You guys really need to keep in mind he hasnt been getting those reps, with these starting receivers and that is huge.

I don't care if the kid throw 3 more picks in this game its him going forward and if you can't see that you really should find another hobby. Had Worley been in this game we would have ZERO points and they would have had the ball atleast 8-10 more minutes of possession. That would have led to a Texas a&m type game that would have completely demoralized our kids and fan base.
