Got my Playstation 3 last night

I went and traded my 360 for a PS3 last night and I think I made a good decision, I got to where I couldn't stand that 360 anymore...Still learning things about the PS3 though, anything in particular I need know?

Bad decision in my personal opinion. I am a homer of the 360 though.

When I first got my 360 I was happy with it but I went threw 3 or 4 of them and I had had enough of calling 1-800-4MYXBOX...lol...I was happy with the game play and everything but I had a Playstation 2 before this and just got to where I had enough of the 360

All my friends have Playstation 3s so that played part into my decision to get one....Being able to play NCAA 09 and having 3 people play makes a difference and makes it alot more fun IMO

If it works for you, who cares? Hope you enjoy it.

Unfortunately, Sony is a bit behind in some of the 'extras' but they are working on things. Plenty of great games coming on both systems. Otherwise, they are fairly similar systems.

If you are really technical, there's still some audio/video tweaks that you have to work around to get everything perfect. But, most folks aren't that involved and if it works great, why bother looking into it?

If you don't have an HDMI receiver and a 7.1 setup, I'd suggest looking into it. There's some games on PS3 that have tremendous surround sound. You'll also be able to handle the HD audio tracks on BluRay discs.

Yeah I really like it so far...I got to get the HDMI or HD cords one of the two...My picture on the 360 was better but that's because I had it set to HDTV and I don't have the cords for my PS3 yet but that's next on the list

If Gran Turismo 5 ever comes out I might make the leap to PS3. (Currently not much of a gamer - have PS2 that I basically use for GT4 and NASCAR).

I heard that the NASCAR 09 game is possibly the last NASCAR game EA sports is putting out...Anyone else heard that?

Yes it sure looks that way' i believe their is a thread about it ....also if you watch the GT5 trailer you will see some nascar screen shots.....Makes you wonder.:ermm:
