Got a bad feeling...

True, but our run game does not worry me, especially if we have a passing game that is working enough to complement it.

Is Vlad back this week?
Im not worried about the running game either. Other than the fact of how much we do run. I could stand to see more attempts.

Have not heard on Vlad. Need him back thats for sure.

i have a feeling that he won't.

but, if he is cleared to play, and he does play, then it will be the same tebow you always see.

what i mean by that is, they will run the same stuff they have always run with him.

he is either 100% healthy and can play the same style of football or he isn't 100% healthy and he doesn't play.

however, no one will truly know until 8 pm saturday night.

He can't take the risk, IMO if he does play. He will not make it through the game running 15 plus times.

That is not a knock against TT, just the nature of the injury. The way he plays the game, actually hurts him IMO. In this situation.

I think we're going to lose what will pretty much be a messy/ugly game by both teams

We don't stand much of chance with Crompton at quaterback. He makes us one dimensional on offense and leaves the defense on the field too long. Same formula all season. It's disgusting to the fans and demoralizing to the players. Last Saturday's outburst is the beginning of the team implosion. Looking forward to 2010 when Crompton can't possibly be at qb.

The problem is that the weakest part of the UGA defense is exactly what the weakest part of our offense is.

That is a good thing.

When you are great at something, even the best teams have trouble stopping you. And when a team is terrible at something, you should do better than normal in that area.

UGA is #49 in rush defense. UF is #17 and UCLA #23. We are the #36 rushing team in nation. Ok state is #25 and rushed for 179 yards against UGA. We will get a lot more than 1 yard rushing this year. Our O Line is way better at run blocking this year.

UGA is #105 in run offense and their 2nd back King is out for the game. They shouldn't be able to run and pass defense is our specialty.

Pounding the rock and controlling the clock with the run game. If it's wet, hurts the passing game and makes it beter for us.

They punt the ball #4 in nation. We suck but have worked on it all week.

There is hope.

AJ Green is a total mismatch against any CB in the country, let alone our Pee Wee guys.

and Branden Smith and Brandon Boykin might just Kill us on Kick returns.

I need Chris Walker to be 100 % because UGAs OTs are very average. a couple sacks and maybe a force fumble can turn this game in our favor

To beat Georgia we will have to do something that we have not been doing.......get some turnovers and convert them into points. It may be time to return Berry back to a real safety rather than using hime as a defacto linebacker.

Sorry. I just don't see how we win ANY of our next three with the UT offense being where it is right now. Blame who you will: Crompton (always a popular choice), the receivers, the OL, or the staff. The fact remains that this offense is not keeping any DC's awake late at night. Given that, it becomes our defense against their offense, and they gain an edge with time of possession. Add to that, our kicking game and special teams haven't impressed, and the picture gets even bleaker.

Based on what I've seen so far, I think we go 1-2 against UGA, Bama, and USCe. And 0-3 isn't much of a stretch. Our defense can only do so much, and they are getting more worn down, and more banged up, every week.

Unless the offense suddenly gels, or we get some big plays on special teams and defense, the next few weeks look pretty rough.

Still, Go Vols.

I would also predict that, if UT falls to 2-6, CLK will make the switch at QB for the remainder of the season.

And perhaps before. A stinker against UGA, and/or Bama might do the trick. At that point, CLK would likely reason that he has nothing to lose.

And I would agree. Fact is, I agreed about halfway through the Auburn game.

Go Vols.

I don't exactly think that Ginger is one of the most popular people on the team or I might agree with you. Even then, Stephens isn't that great in practice and doesn't run this offense very well.

"I mean listen, we're sitting here talking about practice, not a game, not a game, not a game, but we're talking about practice. Not the game that I go out there and die for and play every game like it's my last but we're talking about practice man."

Signed MVP, 10 time all-star and 4 time scoring champion.

:)

P.S. I don't even like Iverson but truer words are rarely spoken. Also, Iverson doesn't run the point the best yet he dishes out like 10 dimes a game. :p

Vlad is a longshot to play. He hasn't practiced at all this week...

Monte will have something schemed for Green. Maybe some safety help over top? Berry perhaps? He's pretty good I hear...

Chris Walker will not be 100% the rest of the year. That's not an injury that goes away during the season. But he will still make an impact...
