Goodbye Coach Clawson, We Barely Knew Ye

It really sucks that Clawson left a head coaching job only to get a one year chance as a coordinator.

Hopefully he can find another coaching job.

He put a big dent in his resume this past year. It will take a few more years in lower ranks to build it back up.

anytime...holler when it's recess & I'll get my 8 year old to play :) He doesn't spell perfectly yet but he's gonna make a mean linebacker.

start getting his tape ready..
It'll probably take till he's ready to sign for Tennessee to recover

I think you all forget Clawson almost got the BC head coaching job. He was not in over his head, its been 8 games with an offense that is not very talented.

Don't you dare bring facts into this discussion! He's a dumb man who's not ready for the mighty SEC yet. He was given a free reign, had plenty of time to use his players, and he also called all the plays. He will never ever be a good football coach unless he goes to Austin Peay. You learned it here from these UT football illuminaries.

I guarantee Cutcliffe would have beaten UCLA and USCe...Probably UGA to.

I am not sure that Cutcliffe could have won with Crompton at UCLA. Much of our failure for the season with the decision, can be layed with the decision to stay with Crompton too long. Who made that decision?

Cutcliffe would have probably had Coleman starting from day one, if not him at least Stephens and the Offense would have be way more prepared.

The tackles on the O-Line would not have been flipped either, I can't wait till Clawson is fired. He is a plagued and needs to be remedied.

Of course the offense would have fared better this season. We have been implementing a new offense this entire year. You keep saying flip the tackles like you know what you are talking about. It has been proven it takes a clawson about a year to implement his offense. I am sure you will want the new coach fired after we are not in the BCS championship next year.

Can you tell me exactly what his offense is suppose to do?

Run the ball? No
Pass the short? No
Pass the ball deep? No

What is it that is Offense thrives on? I just don't see the fuss about this guy. Why is it that after he flipped our tackles our O-Line sucked? Why is it that we can't run the ball this year with the same people we had last year? That, to me, is poor coaching.

You guarantee, really. Yes because after watching 2 quarters of watching Crompton throwing into the stands, and into the dirt, he would have gone strictly to the ground game, because, hey thats what he always did. Then he would have told Chavis to move his DB's up, we're getting killed with the short pass. UGA, not a chance, USCjr, doubt it.
