That run sure made you think of SHULER(he was tebow before tebow)Nance may not want to just sit on the sideline and watch his buddy play.

Tyler Bray has a great snap of the arm and shoulders... very powerful.

Simms has a live arm and if he can get his head into it could be awesome.

Nance is pretty raw, but his fundamentals are good. Deceptively athletic.

After watching some highlights and a few of our QB's I'm pretty excited about the competition and all around talent we're going to have this season. I think Bray redshirts and has the best potential. Nance is very raw but very athletic and with the right coaching from Chaney could have a drastic change. I no longer think Stephens as a starter is a lock. Too much competition. The one that surprised me the most was Simms. I didn't know too much about him at first but was going with the assumption that he'll probably be a backup and was brought in as a body like Lamaison (sp?) but lastnight I looked up his videos on YouTube and I've got to tell you he has all the tools to become awesome. He's got somewhat of a slow release, but his passes have great zip and are very accurate and he also looks somewhat quick on his feet. Not to mention he comes from a good bloodline. If you havent already check out some of his videos on YouTube and you'll be impressed. I like his odds, but I guess we'll see. However, I am loving the competition though!

I thought Simms looked the best, Bray looked a little rough.

I agree. I think I've seen other videos where Bray looked much better. In that video it looked like he under-threw the ball several times and the receivers had to stop their routes to catch it. That's not good.

I hope Bray can part with that "Tebow"-like, full windup release before he tries his luck against SEC DB speed. It won't be pretty.

I thought the quality was in order of appearance. Although, it was a pretty limited sample.

Those were not particularly impressive highlights of Bray. He underthrew that first pass by 5 yards at least.

Agree, don't know Frozen Shield's problem, all you have to do is look at the kid's size, and face the facts, it will be suicide to think this kid could face SEC defenses with the OL he has to work with. He will need to put on lots of weight before he is ready for FL,AL,GA or LSU.

Hoes are your friends, The Vols are your enemy

Just facts, don't know your problem, but I don't think DD would put this kid up against SEC defenses for at least another year. Red shirt and he might be ready, but he needs some weight, and an OL or he will get killed.

Don't think he will play in 2010, he needs to get in the weight room , and agree most freshman quarterbacks are not ready to face the likes of FL, Bama, LSU . Don't have the OL to protect him.
