I'm really hoping that Dooley is going to try to get some insight on what type of schemes Chavis used in the past. I don't think it will hurt. Maybe good ole' Fulmer will call up the Chief and tell him to layoff on Big Orange!

I would think that Chavis would want to hold UT scoreless, just to prove a point

Chavis doesn't have a scheme. It's just sick'em boys up front and hope your corners hold up. I can save you the trouble . Screens, draws and he never bothered to cover the TE over the middle . See "Hob nail Boot" game in 2001. Nothing has changed except the players on the field.

Why? Do you honestly think Phil would help him? Fulmer would like nothing more than for the program to stumble until he is hired back as the coach or AD.

Then he woke up from his dream. It's not happening ever. People need to get over Phil. It's done and over with.

Hate to relive that play, but that wasn't a TE.

We have the prefect offense to beat Chavis. Run 1st and 2nd down. Since our line can't block sets up a prefect 3rd n 18. Screen or cross for a first down.

That's why this game sets up perfectly for UT. The way we run and with Matt "Sack Machine" Simms back there we'll have LSU right where we want them the whole game. 3rd and Chavis baby!!!

I doubt Dooley will need to ask Phil.. We have a whole film room full of Chavis's work.. and you guys left out the option.. Chavis was horrible at stopping it.. I say lets put D. Young in the backfield Teague at QB.. Neal Milton and Da'rick blocking.. Yes.. Teague.. our starting CB.. He played QB in high school and was very fast and elusive! No huddle option attack.. LSU wouldn't know what hit them if we came out like that..

They didn't call him 3rd in Chavy-wavy for nothing

What's Phil going to tell him that two decades of tape won't?

Phil: "Send a box of Twinkies fried in corn dog batter to his booth just before Tennessee's first offensive series."

/sorry couldn't resist.

Hate to burst your bubble...
Check out LSU-Oregon game. He had no trouble stopping their fast paced huury up option read type offense with the current LSU players.

Yeah but Oregon is still more of a spread Offense.. I'm talking about Old school Nebraska Corksuckers Option.. We new it was coming and still couldn't stop it.. They did have a line that was twice as good as ours though.. lol

In all seriousness though.. I do believe the key to keeping us in this game the screen game.. Chavis has never been really good at stopping it completely. Problem is.. we haven't ran many screens yet so why should I think that we will start running them on Sat??
