It's nice to see everyone slamming their town. That reflects really well on our fanbase. It's definitely got to help in recruiting and public relations.

It's really unfair to throw the town under the bus over what a handful of kids allegedly did. Leave them alone, it makes us look terrible.

Their children really reflect well on them. The actions of their children show a piss poor job of parenting.

Knowing Griff, it may not be soon. It may take awhile for the news to get to him.

I would say be on the lookout for an editorial in mid October.

At least he'll be sooner to it than Hyams. If we were talking Hyams, then we'd look out for a report on the SportsAnimal around mid-July.

Of 2011.

This year high school teachers in Tennessee have been convicted selling and possessing drugs. Teachers have been convicted of having relationships with 14 year old students. More people have been killed on the streets of Tennessee than U.S. Soldiers in Afghanistan!

The lack of respect we are laughing at is not funny!

The lack of respect we are demonstrating is just sad.

We need to lead by example and ask what we can do to help these extremely gifted atheletes get the information they need to make their next oppurtunity to travel and be exposed to new evironments a good experience. Coach Kiffin and his staff are well prepared to teach these young men how to act and react. When we offer they need to be grateful and accept UT's invitation to learn a new way to live.:victory:

+1

A lot of the negative stuff is relevant and I agree with, but some of these posts are just completely classless.

Here's an idea. You lead by example and jump off the highest building in your town. We'll decide later if we follow.

The coaches are the ones responsible. Sounds like the kids are sick with talent,so what are the coaches teaching? My mother could coach these kids to championships, but getting thrown out of the Nike camp shows their coaches are the thugs! There are communities all over the country that are poor, not an excuse for that behavior!!!!!

Why would any community put up with such reprehensible behavior. The blame for these out of control social derelicts falls squarely on the school administration. Apparently the "desire to win" has surpassed the need to be civilized.

Reprehensible behavior can only be achieved when the coaching staff and school administrators loose site of what their goals in life should be. The need for the community to reprioritize the entire high school is blatantly apparent. It appears that a general house cleaning is needed beginning with the coaching staff, school principal and that county's school administrators who have tolerated this disgusting lack of social behavior for all too long.
