Since we're on the subject and I was thinking about it today, I'll give my two cents. I think he can coach QB's but am a little concerned about scouting them, his best he's had since being here have been a guy he didn't bring in Hendon Hooker and now a transfer originally from APPY state. Those two have looked like the best in the short time he's been here IMO. I believe Our freshman from this year looks good but until he actually gets meaningful playing time I'll say shows promise but unproven. Milton wasn't bad just didn't seem to really fit the system well again IMO I do agree he improved here, and I do understand sometimes we get who we can get, the players get to pick the destination. I'm just saying that there are a few positions that we haven't shown as much in evaluations and development as others on the field and I realize few will probably agree but IMO QB is one of those positions.

We sure seem to have been lucky at the QB position since CJH arrived. With Nico falling flat on another teams roster and, two other QB’s that couldn’t make it where they were but were sent to the league from here, is it the QB talent or the system?

Several media pundits state it’s the system. Regardless, I’m glad we’re winning and competing at a high level!
Look at Hooker at Virginia Tech compared to Tennessee. Look at Milton at Michigan compared to Tennessee. Look at Nico at UCLA compared to Tennessee. Look at Aguilar at App State compared to Tennessee.

I’d say Heupel and his coaching/system have a LOT to do with it.
