had us on the edge of our seats.

You guys have a lot to be proud of.

Not a particularly pretty game for either squad, but thats what happens late at night in the tournament.

After watching games today, I believe its safe to say that the MWC isn't just a football league.

the MWC isnt much of a football league either besides TCU and occasionally BYU and Utah

I know I have more respect for SDSU. We were ahead most of the game, but it could have went either way. I am glad that Goins had the hot hand tonight.

Thanks, and congrats on your win. Breaks my heart to lose like that, but at least it was as close of a game as I thought it would be. Good thing for us, everyone but Davis will be back next year, so hope to see you guys again for the rematch!

Good luck in the next round. Think you have Ohio's number in that one!

Tennessee's win had to bust the brackets of nearly every college basketball commentator on national tv. Did anyone pick us to win this game? That is the best part of this win -- proving all those dips wrong on the first day of the tourney.

if the MWC expands with Fresno, Boise, and Nevada/Houston it will be a great league (football wise)...but that could only help in bring in more bball talent too right?

Good game, congrats. It was a very even game, your 3 pt shooting won it for you. Could have gone either way. As I said this week to you all, I wasnt sure if we would win, but I knew we would compete. I am glad to see that most of you have at least recognized the quality of the MWC and the Aztecs. Tough loss.

Good luck against Ohio (you must be licking your chops, I know I was)

Thank you, and thanks for the classy post. Your team has nothing to be ashamed of; they played hard for 40 minutes and contested just about every shot. SDSU was advertised as dangerous, and they certainly lived up to the billing.

Thanks...you guys really impressed me by hanging tough. Neither team was particularly pretty, but so goes the first round most years. Best of luck to you guys in the future.

I think Prince was the big factor.he had the most skill of anyone on the floor last night.mwc football well how soon we forget Alabama wanted to come over from the sec but we said no due to there poor showing against Utah in the fiesta we left em for you guys to pound next year. word up find someone who can block that bull rush on field goals.. good luck the rest of the way
