Vols. Good game. Sorry about Justin Hunter, and I hope he isn't lost for the season. It was altogether a disgusting game with all the penalties, etc.

You guys are set up for the future with all your young talent.

Florida should have put the game away in the first half, but we apparently can't score in the red zone. It was a pretty frustrating game for everyone, but of course, we'll take the win.

Good luck the rest of the way.

Thanks for being sane.

Florida seemed pretty sloppy/undisciplined in several areas.

That a concern?

(And I'm not being a wisea$$, I really want to know if that's something people bring up)

Don't wanna hear a Gator badmouthing his team's performance after beating my Vols. Not JMO, I'm sure.

Definitely a concern. We committed a ton of penalties last week as well. I do feel better because I think the talent is there, but man - we won't win many games committing 15 penalties. It made me sick.

Made me sick you had that much yardage in penalties and we still lost.

I thought the game was slop, regardless of who you pull for. UT has no run game. UF has no offense other than Rainey. Too many penalties. Dropped interceptions. Just bad football.

They had many chances to turn that game into a complete blowout. I wouldn't be happy with that performance if I were a Gator fan either.

I've heard this for 7 full years. Florida plays a game that is comical and still kicks our ass. Jesus, will this end? I'm getting tired of explaining to my non-UT friends that yes, we used to actually win. Vol fan through and through, but we are irrelevant.

Good game, good post. UF's superior special teams and outstanding front 4 make the difference. I wish we could have seen that game with Hunter. Considering how UF couldn't cover anyone on our side, I think it could have been ugly for them which would have made for a very tight finish.

UF will lose 4 or 5 games if they don't clean up the secondary and the penalties. Brantley will have to do more to beat Bama, LSU and FSU. Oh well congrats.

Your secondary is going to get scorched all year by teams that can pass block and have good receivers. They aren't going to get away with all the holding they have done for years! You might as well get ready to lose three games in the SEC, Bama, LSU, and another.

We don't care about your empathy for Hunter. We aren't making excuses. But, we know Hunter could have helped us get the W. Had he not went out of the game after his first catch for twelve yards. Hunter would have stretched your D and gave us underneath routes ALL DAY LONG! Go get on the Gator boards and celebrate with your loud mouth, obnoxious lizard friends!

If only Hunter didn't fall, woulda been a little bit different. Oh well.

Thank you and congrats on the win. You guys were a better team and thats why you won. Coulda woulda shoulda didnt happen and these people need to except this loss and go on. Some vols fans are so embarrasing when they lose or win. I like to talk smack against other teams and when next year comes around Im gonna talk some more smack against florida but its all in good sportsmanship. My apologies for some of these vols.

Muschamp is going to be great for Vols' recruiting. Who wants to play football for all those angry white males on the Gator sidelines?

FSU is about to get alot more of that Florida talent.

The Vols may own the Gators a few years out.

We're better off with Dooley. Thanks for being a tool, Muschump.:hi:

Thanks for a classy post, VictoryVille. We are devastated by the loss of Hunter, and even more devastated by another loss to the Gators.

But Rocky Top shall rise again!

You are a moron. If you think he is legitimately sorry Justin was hurt after the first catch. I guarantee you. He was happy and relieved to see him walk to the sidelines for good! Don't apologize for any other Vol fans. We don't care for the Gators. And, we don't care for those that defend their lame attempts at trying to make others think they are anything except trolls just putting salt in the wounds!

those penalties were intentional. They messed up our passing game. I really think it was part of UF's plan. FL fans are whining about bad calls but there was a lot of PI, especially in the second half. To the OP, thanks for not being a SOB. It looks like there is a decent Florida fan or two. You r fan base is loaded with bandwagon jumpers. Do the real fans welcome them or just let them have their fun until another team gets their attention. We saw a lot if it too last decade.

Your correct. Play like you had yesterday will haunt you against the stronger SEC teams. Never seen so many mistakes by a Gator team. You survived because you have more talent IMO.
Thanks for the concern about Hunter. It bothers me to see any young person playing football to get hurt despite what team he plays for. They have a long future ahead and don't need lingering problems from injuries.
Many here are using the excuse of Hunter getting hurt being the reason we got beat. I agree that he was a big part of the O and seeing one of your stars go down has to shake all the young players we have but it was not the reason our O line got pushed around. FL would have won with a healthy Hunter.

This is what still frustrates me. We should not be getting blown out anymore. Or on the verge of getting blown out. It opened my eyes about this season.
