Not much new info, but I will accept the praise. He knows CJP and his defense as well as anyone. I like a coach that uses carrots and sticks to motivate players. Young people need support and consequences IMO to be the best they can be.

So far, one of the things I like about CJP is that he isn't rushing into things to just get them done. His staff is coming together at a slower pace but seems to be getting really solid hires in place. His recruiting seems to parallel that in that he has got some good talent signed and doesn't seem to be panicking. Seems he has a pretty good understanding of actually building for success by getting the right pieces in place instead of just trying to get the most pieces possible and see what he can build.

I agree. However it’s way to early to even consider anything like panicking. I guess that’s were i fall out with VN posters the most(not you cause I think you agree) but they PANIC about everyThing!!! I am retired from a career were people died if you panic....Maybe why i have such a disdain for PANIC!!!!

I hear ya.. I find myself amused at some of the irrational panic being tossed around here. It's obvious Pruitt is as solid a coach (I mean a REAL coach) that has landed here since Kiffin (and maybe before). If Currie had continued his hunt, we'd have payed twice as much for half as much.

Those making an issue of him coaching Bama for (hopefully) one more game, I get that, however that game will be fun to watch. UT will get a lot publicity everytime they show him. He'll get praise. Recruits will be watching this game. It won't be bad.

There is a difference between Panic and blatant troll jobs. PMwoo, you know who you are. Good to have lively discussions, just don't feed the trolls.
