Very good article. Thanks for sharing this.......Berry seems to be such a class act. I cannot wait to see what he does this year against some of the best offensives in the country.....Any predictions for him....I bet he gets 8-10 picks this year, at least thats what I would be hoping for.

Berry is just a special, special, player. Someone like this (if he continues to stay healthy and progress) only comes around every 10 years or so in all of the SEC. He will make us happy, and I think an NFL team very happy someday.

I like this part real well...
that he was a member of the National Honor Society in high school. Or that he served a dental internship back home in Atlanta. Or that he actually addresses sports writers as “Sir” or “Ma’am.”

The thing to keep in mind is that if Berry lives up to hispotential (he should) he will not last more than 5 rounds which means that he will go to a team that is sorry more than likely.

As little sense as that post made, I think he could make a big enough impact to turn a defense around by making plays.

Best player on the team bar none. But freshman arguably in UT history, not best player, but best freshman season ever. Jamal Lewis is up there also

Whose to say that he will leave early? Granted, he probably will, but since he wants to be a dentist I just wonder if that will have anything to do with it, and how much of a pro career he really wants to have?

How many safeties have gone in the top 5 in the last 10 years?

If he continues at all like this he'll be a first rounder... Huff went pretty high, as well as whitner. Kenny Phillips is another potential impact DB. But i agree with you, top 5 is rare from my recollection

I have no doubt if he continues to improve he'll be a first rounder. Top 5? Highly doubtful
