Not worried at all, shows confidence by the staff that pope wasn't getting it done.

Can Gooch snap the shotgun.. We havent seen it much, if not at all, with Pope

I think I just heard on the radio that Pope has a concussion and that's the reason for the substitution.

Yes, but I heard earlier this week on the radio that the coaches expected Gooch to win the starting spot when they brought him in from JC. He put on around 30 pounds and lost his agility was the main reason he didn't win the spot like the coaches expected. (All per the radio in Nashville this week.)

He played pretty well last week in relief of Pope and he got all the reps this week. That is not our biggest concern of the day.

Gooch was great on that one play Poole ran along the sidelines and Gooch was there blocking way up field and even held his arm out to help Poole stay up, showed a lot to me on that play, great awareness and strength.
