Gonna Be A Hard Team To Watch This Year

Super, we just can't afford to lose even one more player. Gosh, I wish we had Jabari!

We absolutely can NOT loose another player! It would be devastating to the team! SD, i wish Jabari could play, too! Last night after the lead, i said, "DT, you can put JB in and let him hop around!" LOL However, he really cheers for the team on the sideline! He told me that these guys are like his brothers and through RAIN, SLEET, SNOW AND INJURY, he will attend each and every game and cheer better than the cheerleaders until his jersey no. is called!!! I love him because he is so humble and loving!

I don't necessarily disagree with you, but a team of 80% newcomers and freshmen playing in their first road conference game, some futility is to be expected. Frustrating all the same, but consider the pieces CDT is working with at the moment and take every win they give you. 9 scholarship players went on the road for the first time and got a double-digit win. MSU is maybe the worst team in the conference, but still, wins won't come easy for this bunch, and they will be hard to watch at times. Better days are ahead as I think Tyndall can coach for sure. Give him a couple seasons, and we should be rewarded for our patience.

I couldn't agree with you more. Mistakes, silly fouls, missed shots, etc. are all to be expected from this team of mostly first-timers, on the road and at home as well. HOWEVER... We are WINNING! Yes, WE....THE VOLS! These guys are giving their ALL for Tennessee....The fans...VOLNATION!

We should rally behind them and be grateful for the energy they bring. Stop damn whining like somebody stole your lunchbox. We know what we have...3*, no rank, raw skilled, easy fouling, undersized, hustling ballers who play HARD with HEART in every game! They NEVER give up or hang their heads. They fight like hell with CRAZY energy to the bitter end.

I don't care if we never score over 60, a win is a damn win! Now I'm no basketball expert. I don't understand RPI, OOC and none of the other Basketball acronyms. But I understand W-I-N quite well and that's what the Vols are doing.

I don't care how pretty or ugly the win is. At the end of the day (game) a WIN is a WIN and that's the way it will be recorded by the SEC!

Now, If I were a lawyer I'd rest my case. :birgits_giggle:

Personally, I just love the input you guys bring to this discussion. As you grow used to the banter back and forth, you will see Posivols and Negavols but that's just people. You even have Kentucky fans and Florida fans, our big nemesis's, wanting to put in their two cents worth. Thing is nobody gets hurt here like they do on the court. As for Jabari McGhee, from what I know so far and I am good at evaluating character in young men, he is a special dude better than any 5* in my opinion. I really believe that as he rehabs and the trainers bulk his frame, next year he will be the one playing the 5 spot. I dare someone to try and take it away from him! :good!:

SD I have developed my thick skin. I'm used to the teasing now. It's actually entertainment for me and in some cases its like Reality TV. :birgits_giggle: However, I having to learn who is who and their reasons for being on Volnation. I know some are "trolling", some are haters, and some are just plain $hi! starters.

I also know not everyone is gonna love Jabari and even those who like him will blast him on the days he's having a bad game. That's okay. It's all in the game. I get mad as well. Now I may blast Jabari but I will be sensitive to the other players and their relatives that are on Volnation.

Thanks SD! That meant a lot to me!! I look forward to reading your posts, especially when you pull out the stats to prove your point! LOL! AWESOME!
I was wondering about the Kentucky and Florida Fans being on our VOLNATION! Even though I love the POSIVOLS and fuss with and about the NEGAVOLS, I have grown to LOVE each and every one of them on VOLNATION!:air_kiss: WE ARE ALL A FAMILY NOW! LOL!
