Me and 3 buddies are doing a golf trip February 21st weekend and we’re looking at courses down there in Orlando. We really don’t want to spend $100 a round. Any advice? What are some good courses for the money?

Golfpac is based in the Orlando area and can book your whole trip or just your t-times. Their prices are generally about the same and their staff is made up of golfers who can suggest the right courses for your abilities, location and budget.

I dont know what cost your looking at but Falcons fire and Celebration were 2 good courses.

Falcons fire is full of water and sand traps. Celebration is short and tight. Both were beautiful well kept courses when we played them.

EDIT: Sorry, I didn't read your post closely. Both of these courses can run close to that. Ypu could check and see if they are running any deals

There are a ton of courses you can play in the Orlando and Kissimmee area, but for the most part the quality golf courses are fairly expensive. There are a few courses that I have played that are pretty decent tracks that you can tee it up from between 45 and 65 dollars a round depending on what day of the week and when your tee time is ....

Ventura Country Club
Shingle Creek
Grande Vista Golf Club

I've also played these and highly recommend them, but they will cost you anywhere from 85 to 125 dollars a round. Tee times can be a little harder to come by on these especially on the weekends so I would try to book in advance.

Eagles Creek
Falcons Fire
North Shore Golf Club

You can play Hawks Landing for around 65 bucks if you don't mind teeing off after 1:00 pm, it's over a 100 bucks in the am. It's a great golf course and well worth the pm rate to play.

If there is anyone in your group that is an Orlando resident you can usually get the Orlando local residents discount, or if anyone in your group is simply a Florida resident you can sometimes get a Florida resident discount, a lot of courses there offer these and they can save you a little money.

Enjoy and hit em' well !

Booked Eagle Creek and North Shore for day 1. Looking forward to them both.
