I wasn't crying about bashing coaches.... the OP was trying to call out Butch supporters..... and they're extinct. I said no one is in the mood for that..... things are bad enough without it..... just like captain crybaby and a few others making such an issue over the middle finger. ..... trust me..... you and I are in agreement

I personally don't think too much of it.

However, Butch is the one who told Eric Stryker from Oklahoma to "have some damn class" when he did this in Neyland. That's what makes this look so bad IMO.

I agree with Buck FAMA all day long. Complaining about refs in a 45-7 game where we got boat raced is unseemly. Don't do it, take it back, you're better than that.

But he was penalized and has since issued an apology. As far as I'm concerned, that should be the end of it. All this talk of suspension and getting kicked off the team is silly as hell.

At least it shows he has some damn fire in him and is tired of losing. He is one of the better players on defense and don't blame the kid one bit.

Hopefully I'll see him out and be able to buy him a beer.

No snowflake here and played sports all through high school. We were taught better than that. Totally classless move period!

I agree with this but he should have sat the rest of the game. If Butch doesn't know or find out he did what he himself called a "classless move" when an opposing team did it then there is a serious breakdown in communication on the sidelines. Would have been another notch in the "runs clean program" that is the only meat to his resume as far as a coach. We all know he can sell and recruit to high school players but as a coach his one calling card is running a clean program. Kicks to the face resulting in stitches, blatantly lying about the Warrior-Turtle fight and letting this happen hurts his brand as much as what has happened (or not happened) on the field.

I get this, but when so many of the players scratch and claw for every inch, and I know Gaulden did, I hate to see a handful of players turn every opportunity we have into another setback. Otherwise it did not bother me. I was just glad a bammer did not follow up by injuring one of players with a cheap shot.
