Going To Oxford

Seriously? Go to Memphis, stay downtown, and hit Beale Street. Unless you enjoy eating at another Cracker Barrell and plan on catching Matlock re-runs at 9 before going to bed.
I would suggest Southaven. Unless you are just looking to party the night before an 11am game.

and for those who haven't been to Oxford, I swear to God it's the smallest college city I've ever been to. I always get upset that they don't even have a Hardee's
Been to Starkville?

I remember last time Tennessee played in Mississippii, the State game, we had a ton of UT fans there.

No doubt, we had the upper deck and a section of the lower deck. :good!:

Which hotel? We're at Harrah's.

The dinner selection at the Horseshoe is my personal favorite.

As GCrop mentioned, those of you looking to stay near Memphis, staying in Southaven or Olive Branch would be good options. You are only 45-1hr away and have plenty of eating options. As one that lives in Southaven, I would recommend it.

Looking forward to making the trip down with a buddy of mine. Be warned that traffic in and out of Oxford sucks.

I know some people are looking, but I may end up having 2 extra tickets. Should know something early next week.

I'm driving into Ole Miss on Thursday and was wondering if anyone knew of any campgrounds or other camping areas in the area. I couldn't find any online and couldn't figure out how to register to be a troll on the Ole Miss message boards. I have a place for Friday & Saturday, but I wanted a campfire and a bottle of Ole Number 7 for a Thursday night pregame. Thanks and GO VOLS

Wall Doxey State Park is an option. About 20 miles from Oxford.

Which hotel? We're at Harrah's.

Last I heard we are staying at Fitzgerald's but rumors are that may have changed. Another UT alum (in Memphis) is helping out with the rooms in Tunica and transportation to Oxford (freebies).
