Bring your gun..:p Just messing with ya. We dont get to much snow here, just cold. Check out Beale Street. Thats about the best place here in Memphis. You can go to the Casinos (20 min South of Memphis) .

Depends on what you are looking to get in to. Beale is always an option, and that's probably where everyone in town for the game will be. So my guess is that the cowbells will be out in force on Beale that weekend. Not sure if the Grizzlies are playing here around then, but they are advertising some kind of Liberty Bowl package here that is including tickets to the Memphis v. Arizona bball game that is after the football game. I guess it's an option if your looking to watch some decent basketball. It seems like the Liberty Bowl is always one of the coldest days of the year for some reason, so get ready to bundle up.

Beale Street. Sometimes the best music is on the Street or in the Park for free. I personally enjoy a big ole dude named Big Jerry. Look for him and his guys on the far end of Beeale.

Agreed, Interstate is fantastic. It is owned by the Neeley family of Neeley's BBQ fame that was mentioned earlier on in this post.

p.s. try the bbq spaghetti

Not that it's of any relevance, but I thought EP's closed over a year ago?

It reopened last year. It's now called EP's Delta Kitchen. I've never eaten there, but that has been a pretty popular place lately.

The Flying Saucer has an outstanding beer selection and always has a special posted on their fire sale board plus the waitresses look great in their Catholic schoool girl outfits.

Since you are a gator fan why don't you check out Voodoo Village? It's great after dark.

I would recommend going to Orange Mound around 1:30 a.m. Stop your car and put your hand in the air..Should find some nice people to talk to.
