Tennessee does not have the incredible recruiting success as of late without the onside kick decision with 3 timeouts and over 4 minutes left on the clock in the bowl game vs Indiana. Agree or convince me otherwise
I don't think many recruits remember that. I think it's the coaching staff selling a vision, building relationships. JMO

Pruitt is a competitor of the Type A variety. He'd probably bite you in the knee to win a lunchroom paper football game. There's not any level he won't meet on to compete. He's just built that way. It can burn him out early BUT when you have a fellow like that on your side wins will come or he'll die getting there.

Was it consensual?

Y’all are always building up the size of our coaches anatomy and it’s kinda weird. Lol. But maybe Pruitt will be proven to be a gutsy dude. He’s made a few gutsy calls (the onside kick especially)...but he’s also made some conservative decisions. time will tell who he is in those moments.
But butch Jones was always the least gutsy coach you’ll ever see. And some called him butch stones. I still laugh at that one. This being the guy that repeatedly took his foot as the gas while still in the first half! And kicked a fg at home against Oklahoma from the 1 foot line. Lord help. Anyone that ever called that dude ballsy should consider turning in their vol card.

And all these years I thought it was Godzirra...

Go VOLS

The monster was created as Gojira in Japan, which is a combination of the words for gorilla (gorira) and whale (kujira). Someone smart renamed the American release Godzilla, which sounds a hell of a lot more badass.

If you've seen Pacific Rim, there is a definite gorilla-whale monster as a nice little reference to Gojira's etymology.

Back to topic, Jeremy Pruitt is definitely building a juggernaut here. The recruits can see what's happening and it is only going up from here.

ummmm..........Jeremy Pruitt was personally the 24/7 National Recruiter of the Year and has two more on staff (Tee and Brian) + Ansley who was runner up last year. Somehow, that tells me that they would likely have good recruiting because they are good recruiters. ;)
TRUTH. CJP changing staff to get the best recruiters on board. Results obvious. Once again, Gandalf, is wise. Salut!

Well, our TV was black and white so it sounded different in Sullivan County.

We are on a heater. Just enjoy it. Pruitt is a good crooter, he has been all along. Hopefully we can finish off the class with some very high quality takes and retain our position. It will be the first time we have recruited like a powerhouse in a while and an important step to getting back where we need to.
