Here's a recent paper:

UNHCR - Climate change, disaster, displacement and migration: initial evidence from Africa. Vikram Kolmannskog

What kind of sources or examples would you find credible? There's coral bleaching, changes in disease patterns, food shortages, etc. Note, I said changes. I am aware that they have always occurred.

It's kind of like asking someone to prove someone died of AIDS. AIDS doesn't kill you, it just leads to something that would otherwise be easily dealt with killing you.

But people act like there hasn't been these sort of things before. That's the most frustrating part. There has always been unexplainable famines, plagues, sea rising and receding. Why in the hell do people act like somehow today is the only time that bad things have happened?? It makes NO sense to me.

The difference is before these things just happened to us, now on top of that they are also happening BECAUSE of us. We're affecting our own environment, the same way fermentation microbes affect theirs', or how the first prehistoric plants changed the atmosphere by releasing free oxygen molecules and making it possible for animals to exist. We are now at the level of success (biologically, technologically) that we are modifying our very atmosphere. It's a big deal.

I'll agree with you on everything besides CO2. You want to argue pollutants, I can agree with you 100% on that.

Without going to Google bro, tell me some things that have impacted us here in Middle TN that have to do with MMCC. There are zero that we have experienced here.

Name some things that have impacted you in middle Tennessee that has to do with nuclear weapons. Therefore, nuclear weapons are not a threat to you.

Thing is, one man can push a button and BOOM the Earth is toast. There is no button you can push to make the earth uninhabitable in just days, other than the one I mentioned.

Right. In some ways this is worse. We could be holding a button down for the last 20 years, and continue holding it down for another 20 years, with major consequences suddenly manifesting themselves 20 years after that.

Either way, harm is harm no matter how long it lags behind the causal action. Nukes are a like a gun, GCC is like a poison. Either one is capable of messing things up.
