For some TN Football. This has been the longest offseason I've endured in my 35+ years of Big Orange hootin and hollering. I don't think I've ever been more ready for Football Time in Tennessee. Nation.

Real optimism for the first time in awhile, feels like Pruitt is righting the ship. Should be fun to see what the team looks like and does this year.

GO VOLS.

DD - I hope this optimism is not so "blind" as to not except the reality the results of this season brings. I hate to think of the start of "fire everyone", it's AD's fault, no S&C coaching, we pay too much for these lazy no nothing asst. coaches, Pruitt need to go back to Bama, etc, etc. That would just make the next off season that much longer and harder to suffer through. Someone just posted how long this off season has been, well too much optimism will cause the same or worse for next season. GO VOLS!!!!!

As long as we see improvement and we're challenging for every game, beat who we are supposed to and get an upset like Auburn last year, then a bowl game, call it a success and see the recruiting class an development for next year.

We are building a roster incrementally from the last 2 yeas and are starting to get the pieces we need. When these kids are Jr's and SR.'s we could be back to really competing/being favored every year for the East.

I just choose to believe that better days are ahead for Vol fans.

Everything in life runs in cycles. Our down cycle is about over.

I'm not saying we're National Title or SEC Championship contenders this year ... or that we'll even contend for the East.
But we will show marked improvement over what we've lived thru for the better part of a decade now, and that this season is gonna be the most fun we've had watching our football Vols in a while.

Indeed, I choose to believe, better days are ahead.
