It is pretty cool to be wearing Vol gear and cruising an airport or on vacation somewhere outside Tennessee and hear "Go Vols".

Stick a fork in the Gruden as he is now a "raider".

Never took the fork out of the drawer in the first place.

I almost always get positive comments when I am "representin." One funny story though I was wearing a UT jacket at a pub outside of Belfast on vacation years ago and the bartender recommended I remove my jacket. He was not a closet Bama fan, I just happened to be in a strong Irish Catholic part of town and orange was Protestant so it was kind of a no-no.

I have had my Vol's gear recognized and appreciated in many states in the US as well as Costa Rica, Honduras, Mexico, Canada, England, Germany and a few other countries.

However, my most memorable experience had to be in Jerusalem, Israel. I was walking up to the Temple Mount and to my left were about 100 or so Israeli soldiers. I was wearing a white hat with the Power T on it. Suddenly I hear, "Go Vols!" It was an Israeli soldier who was actually an American serving in the Israeli military. I talked to him for a while and discovered he was from Knoxville. I didn't even know Americans could serve in the Israeli military, but I met several who were serving that day.

It was a great experience, one I will never forget. Go Vols!

I was there back in October. It was a common occurrence. Hearing Go Vols or people throwing up the VFL sign.
The Volnation was in full force.
