Greetings Volunteers!

Though I am a Southern Miss fan living in New Orleans, hence my handle SinCityEagle, I was curious who here is going to root for the Saints in their underdog role against the Colts tonight?
When the state of La. and the city of New Orleans, proposed spending $180 million dollars refurbishing The Superdome following Katrina, I was aghast. I thought that it would be wasted...
A year and many hardships later, the stage was set. It was the first Saints home game in the Dome since Katrina. The highly touted Atlanta Falcons with Michael Vick, and a much hated Morton Anderson, were expected to pay tribute to the Katrina victims then easily dispatch the Saints. That night, in the city, in the Dome, the air crackled!
Then it was as if the best team in Saints history showed up! Atlanta, with all of it's talent, could not stop them.... On that night, in that Dome, an NFL all star team would not have beaten the Saints. Not on that night. The Saints simply would not be denied......
When I saw the degree of happiness rise in this city with every Saints victory, I knew that it was a wise investment...

So how 'bout it?
WHO DAT SAY THEY GONNA BEAT DEM' SAINTS? WHO DAT! WHO DAT!

PEACE- GO EAGLES!!!

"Tennessee's favorite son" is from New Orleans. His dad played for the Saints... Archie Manning... I'm sure you have heard of him. :)

Hey, I'll always root for Peyton in everything he does, but tonight...

WHO DAT? Geaux Saints!

Oh, and I was at the home opener against the Falcons last year, and all I can say is out of all the sporting events I have ever attended, that was the greatest experience you can imagine in sports.

Yes, I remember very well Archie getting his butt kicked every week in his NFL career. But you gotta hand it to the guy, he knows how to raise his sons.

I would like to see the Colts win but I think NO. has a little better team. One of there WR is bad A@@ (wonder who that could be). I dont track the NFL like I do college so I would have to say good luck to both teams.

Hopefully Robert Meachem catches 2 td's tonight in a losing effort, but he's likely to barely see the field.

However, Peyton can throw for another 6 TDs so one of my fantasy teams can thrive. haha

I'm a lifetime Saints fan...we've endured a lot, but this could be the year. Manning is my favorite NFL player, but I gotta throw on my black "BUSH" jersey tonight a pull for the Saints!

Don't worry, I'll toss the orange #16 MANNING jersey back on when we play USM this weekend!
