I agree. If Schiano indeed backs out we need to go full court press in either Kiffin or Sumlin. Sumlin has beaten bama and according to most on this board that is a huge prerequisite that few candidates can claim.

Either one is a million times better. This is the first time a coaching change has made me angry.

Hire Lane Kiffin. He wants the job and he was young and immature we he was here before. A great recruiter and motivator.

Sumlin is imminently more qualified than Schiano.

86-43 record.

No losing seasons in the toughest conference in the country.

Sumlin won't come here...i think he's had enough "DRAMA" with A&M...why would he want to endure more "Drama" here...we have been mediocre for more than a decade now, but we feel we deserve the best coaches...Let's "GET REAL" we need "BLUE BLOOD COACHES" to come in here and get us going...UCLA, FLORIDA, soon ARKANSAS are getting great coaches, but as long as we keep running our mouths about who is NOT good enough for UT, we are likely to run off all of the good coaches[whose gonna want to come here]...Bad hire or not, it does not help us at all when we encourage Herbsteit to tell us to calm down...I HAVE BLEED ORANGE FOR DECADES and this entire ordeal of "who we are" sickens me...UCLA, FLORIDA & soon ARKANSAS are showing who they are by getting great coaches and as for us[Hmmm it is what it is] but I am AGAINST the hire of SchiaNO! GO VFL 💖
