actually, tenn getting a #2 seed from the eastern division for the sec tournement may not be a good thing beacsue they would get a first round bye. The goal should not be to win the sec tournement but rather to pick up as many wins as possible. So if tenn gets a first round bye, they are basically missing out on an easy win. So would you rather finish second or third in the east?
