Ryan Mallet? He ran over 5s on a laser. I have no idea who else it could be but like I said 6'6" on laser is rare but there are ones that do it, but they look fast too. Gmac is not a 4.5 guy. I guarantee it.That QB from Arkansas a few years back was 6.7 and he ran a 4.5
Can’t remember is name…Ryan maybe?
Oh, that was 20+ years ago. He was fast and he looked fast. He was a 4.3 guy iirc. Also like I said, he ended up as a NFL WR. You kinda prove my point how rare it is, had to dig 20 years and he ended up a WR.No…I looked it up Matt Jones
Took 5 seconds to disprove "not finding facts". He is a QB. If he ends up starting, it's the most important position to keep healthy. Getting hit is unavoidable. All this talk but you’ll find no facts on “weight needed for durability”. It’s a want, and mostly in fans heads. He’s a QB, not a linebacker. If our QB is getting hit that much, there’s a good chance he’s at risk for injury no matter the size.
You probably are not 6’6” tall. The physics of long levers that gives quarterbacks like GMAC higher potential arm power makes it more challenging to perform heavy bench presses. You had good power though, your one rep max would be about 300 or so weighing only 180!225 x2 ??? Seriously, that’s all he could do? When I was a senior in HS I did 10 reps with 225 at 180lbs.
You are basing this info/opinion from what report? These numbers are not factual. Not even close. Nothing personal, but wherever or whoever gave you these numbers definitely fudged them. Most of the time, high school coaches do this to help their players get better looks. Example, gmac currently probably weighs less than 200, running a 5.0 and benching 185lbs is more realistic. He definitely is not running a 4.5 or benching 225lbs.
I gave the like for the oranch. No truer words have been spoken.I’m stating shared truths. Sources are never given. Just getting tired of the made up reports and tall tales referring to the qb. The fan base has a tendency to get ahead of themselves. Thats all. We hype up unknowns. I’m just as guilty.
I don't think there is any intent to use him as a duel threat. He may grow into a duel threat but not this year. He should only run when there is a gaping hole and get down before he's hit. Doesn't really matter what we think, it appears he is going to be QB1.Neither ran the ball Gmac is a dual threat. He needs to put on weight.
