Glen Mason

One thing you can say is that they managed to run the ball pretty well at Minny. Granted, it was the Big XI... but still.

He had a good offensive line and two great running backs. I'd definitely take his offensive lines. In 2004 only two running backs managed 100 yards against Alabama. They were both from Minnesota. Marion Barber III and Lawrence Maroney. They also had a guy win the best OL award.

I think Glen Mason has been in the running for every job in America. He was actually the head coach at UGA for about 2 or 3 hours before he backed out and they had to hire Donnan.

They run the ball every single play, thats why they always put up so many rushing yards. That offensive is way behind the curve, this would be a bad hire for the OC position.

I would agree with you, but the O-line position might work if Adkins leaves.

Yes, some say as OC, I cant believe that, and Duke as put up 2 mil for a coaching staff, so goes the rumor. So maybe he has just been offered more cash from Cut. Perosnally, I liked the work he was doing for UT, seemed be doing a very good job with these guys.

If he'd (Mason) bring in some midwestern farm boys instead of converted DT's who can't open up holes I'm all for it.

Cut is killing us right now. He is pulling the half of the staff out from under us.

If we wanted them bad enough, we'd find a way to hang onto them. He can have them. No respectable football program is trying to hire these guys.

Exactly, I am ALL kinds of down with getting some new blood in our coaching staff.

Let's tear it down all at once now. Why wait until next season to redo the Defensive side?

As for Mason - OL coach, absolutely. OC - no way in hell!

What's the deal with wanting to fire Chavis?I still believe in this guy and that he can still produce a great defense.
