Glad I left Georgia... [Derek Dooley running for US Senate]

Ugh. I'm definitely on the left end of the political spectrum so not likely to advocate him anyway, but I wouldn't vote for Dooley if he were the combined reincarnation of FDR, MLK, Ghandi, and John Lennon simply based on the fact he tried to have Eric Berry's car towed from the practice center.

I prefer my politicians know how to count to 11 personally

I like how at the age of 57 the only tangible good thing he says about himself in that video is who his dad was.

Dude's spent his entire life riding his dad's coattails, guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Georgia Republicans aren’t reinventing the wheel right now. They’re lining up to tout their allegiance to Trump and that’s about it. Dooley’s dad was once the 2nd most famous person in the state. It’s hard for me to hate on him for riding a little name recognition.

As a Georgia voter, I would vote for Putin before I voted for Derek Dooley for anything. He was invited to speak at a breakfast I attended a couple of months ago when this first came up and it was all I could do to not just shout some of his dumbest quotes from his time here at him during the speech. A couple of the partners in our firm are big republican backers and got a picture with him. I thought about posing in the picture with partially hidden extended middle finger, but I decided to stay back and have an extra donut instead. He definitely has all of the mediocre Republican movers and shakers that cost them the Senate seat last time in his corner, surround yourself with the best people, I guess.

Tubberville failed? After beating Alabama six straight years?
Tubberville getting credit for taking advantage of the worst period for Alabama football in 40 years is akin to giving James Franklin credit for beating Tennessee when he was at Vanderbilt. They didn’t succeed, they just took advantage of gross incompetence on the parts of better programs.

I would have LOVED to have had that kind of “luck” over the last decade. Beating Bama six in a row would have resulted in a UT Coach getting a statue and a street named after him.

Tuberville's Auburn teams were awesome. Tough defense, great running games. Very good balanced teams. Fun to watch and would kick your ass.
