Would you rather be down by 4 pts with 2:30 left in the game and possessing the ball on UT's 20 or would you rather be up by 4 with Bama's O in the same situation?

Now the clincher since most would rather have the D on the field I imagine... Which O do you think would have the better chance of winning the game under those circumstances?

bama would have the better chance of driving for the score in that scenario but I'd sure like our odds. I would take the lead and give them the ball

I'd always rather have a lead. I like both defenses in that situation honestly. I'll take ours though because they've proven this year that they can keep opponents out of the endzone and hold them to field goal attempts, which does nothing in this situation. Also got to love to have Eric Berry playing centerfield with Bama in a have to throw the ball situation.

Take the lead and give Bama the ball. Their D would feed off of their crowd in that situation.

I'd take the ball. Winners always want the ball. I think we could find a way to get it into the endzone. I think our guys have more heart and if we were only down by 4 points that late in the game the players would start believing they Are that Damn good.

If we're within 4 with 2 minutes left I'll be on the floor, and find out how it ended later.

Either situation would be a huge success. I think I'd rather have our D on the field, especially since their QB hasn't faced this situation in college yet.

In this specific scenario I would take the lead and give Bama the ball. The main reason is pressure. Bama is the No. 2 team in the country and UT is nothing. This is in Bamaville. Bama is supposed to kill us. IF they have to drive and score a TD with only two minutes left they will implode. They would never expect to be in that situation and therefore would not be able to pull it off.

I would rather be on D. Both teams have great defenses and it would be very difficult to score a TD on either in the last two minutes. Now if you only needed a FG to win the game, I think the decision is much closer.

Simple...I have more confidence in our D than in our O and would much rather be protecting a lead than trying to drive the field against Bama's nasty defense.

Bama would have a better chance.
1. They are at home.
2. They have a good QB with Julio and a hell of a running game.
3. Saban is a Vet and knows how to win.
4. UT's D will be worn down because of Bama's physicality.

I would rather Bama be winning by a score of 35-0 lined up in the victory formation for the final snap of the game. But maybe that's just me. :)

I agree and that's why we would want the ball. Can't believe I'm going to say this but we have Crompton, Jones, Moore, and Hardesty. To be down by only 4 I'd trust them. There D would be worn down too. They are bigger but that would work against them. Plus if it's that tight of a game then it's been a battle out there and the play call that CLK would use would either make him a clutch coach or a dismal play caller.

Well, I would like for your team to be overrated and play like UGA... since we're in the pony wishing mode.
