This is moronic. Les is a hybrid of the worst parts of Fulmer and Butch- old guy who was exposed when his competition improved (PF), and couldn't develop a qb, so his offense was inept, and made horrible in-game decisions (BJ). I'm sure the response will be, "but he can recruit", so could Phil and Butch.Les. Miles.

Old guy? You lost me at that one. 'Remember Mike DeBord? All those "He's too old" attitudes did irreparable damage to his desire to stick to the program...that and Butch...and had to have led to his leaving this embattled situation. How many records did his offense set at UT in '16? Get off that shtick! Miles isn't too old. Neither is Bob Stoops. IMHO, the potential HCs out there this season...those who would maybe come to Knoxville...is encouraging. That quite a number of them would be an improvement to Butch is a given. Miles would win here. So would Stoops. For that matter, close to a dozen of those current and budding big-time HCs could arguably make UT into a winner; place them back into the national conversation. I say open the safe for Chip Kelly and take him before he winds up beating us down the road someplace else (floorduh?). No other coach out there provides the pizzaz to their programs than he can. Let's get him then hold back the urge (listen negas) to blast him before he's got his "ducks" in a row at UT. That would also go for any other coach Currie winds up bringing here. Note: Please don't confuse this post as one which is, nonetheless, suggesting supporting some non-P5 "riser." NO EXPERIMENTS!This is moronic. so you don't agree he's too old, what about lack of qb development and offensive production? What about horrible clock mgmt. and in-game decisions?Old guy? You lost me at that one. Go after Chip Kelly and Chris Petersen the same way you "allegedly" went after Gruden.
Offer 7-8 million a year and the keys to the city. Make a "no" from them seem illogical.
63. Fired for his inability to change. We can do better. Hed be an upgrade, but who wouldnt at this point?
