I have been a Vol fan most of my life. Vol football will never be out of my blood. No matter how much I want to be through with them I always find myself in front of the TV watching the game. I will admit that the fishing was good this fall and I did listen to a couple of games on the radio while I was out on the river fishing, this was not a good idea as sound carries much farther on water and the cussing fit I had during the KY game got me a few looks from other fishermen.

UT administration only cares about your money, not success on the football field......If Pruitt is back next year and stadiums are allowed to be filled again, I do not see Neyland with more than 60-70% capacity....

I'm still a 'Vol' but I just can't give a darn like I used to. The amount of ineptitude from Administrators that has destroyed this once proud brand forces me to take a step back. I look forward to a day when I might be able to take pride in my team again.

I'm numb to it all but still all Vol. I'll never be a fan of another team. Saying that,,,watching the busted coverages,pick 6's,,coaching mistakes happen doesn't even raise an eyebrow anymore. Just numbness.

I may be alone here, but for what it's worth I find myself just not caring about the state of VOLS football anymore. Maybe it's the combination of election fraud, Corona + the crap the comes along with it, a couple decades of coaching carousels, bad hires, rebuilds, habitually starting a QB that gives 0 chance to win etc. The cold hard truth is I think I am just numb to it. Keep Pruitt or fire him, get the best recruits or the leftovers...its kinda all the same to me at this point. I'll still wear my orange and catch a few highlights if there are any. Might even go to a game here or there if my son wants to, but I think I am done being invested so much in things UT. It seems the powers at be quit giving a crap a long time ago so why should I. I felt like Pruitt would right the ship but him and JG are apparently going down with it together.
Is this just a severe case of battered Vol syndrome?
Am I alone?
Where is your give a crap level these days?

I watch the games and drink beer. Unsure which category this falls into.

My guess is numb to it all, especially if you drink quite a bit. At least that's the way I've been approaching it.

Heading towards Rocky Top tomorrow for the game Saturday. If I can go I will. If I can’t go I’ll watch on TV. If I can’t watch on TV I’ll listen. If I can’t listen I’ll ask for updates from my brother. The funk the Vols have been in is depressing. JG will be gone soon and so might JP. I’m looking forward to turning the page on what’s been happening.

I no longer get calls/texts from friends that are fans of other schools when we loose. UT is not only expected to loose, but expected to get blown out

When I first moved to Georgia, pup fans hated me. Now, they apologize after Saturday's, it's pathetic.

Most already are wanting him gone but if the game sat. goes like expected it will start getting alot louder.

Scheduled some work for myself during the Florida game this weekend. It would have been unthinkable until recently. Didn't even think twice or hesitate to do it and that's the first time in 30+ years one of my fall Saturdays didnt revolve entirely around watching Tennessee football. Still wear orange proudly and still care, just a little bit less so I suppose..

I love the Vols and in 5 months I'll be a proud alum but that doesn't mean I'm not going to criticize the program and annoy everyone I know with "Tennessee has to hire Hugh Freeze" takes.
