Absolute robbery. No coach who lost to San Diego (and I don't care if they made the tournament, it's San Diego, at home) and Gardner-Webb in the same season, both at home, should not win SEC Coach of the Year. Kentucky beat nobody of note on the road in the conference. Last I checked, Kentucky finished just about where they were expected to, just like Tennessee. It's an absolute joke if he shares COY with Pearl. If it's not gonna happen this for CBP, it's never gonna happen.

It seems BCG won due to his own problems earlier in the year. If they had beaten GW and SDU and had the same SEC record I wonder if he would have won?
I say no. He inadvertently lowered expectations then beat those expectations.
I can't argue with that. What CBG has done in conference play this year is remarkable. And CBP getting Tennessee's first SEC championship in 41 years is at least as impressive.
Question: if Bruce isn't the national coach of the year, who is?
No one is crowning CPF Coach of the Year.
