Gillespie comments on Justus Pickett?

I must have missed hearing/reading anything on this guy. Where did he come from? Gillespie's comments sound promising though. Sorry if this had been discussed before.

Do you know if he is eligible this year or will he be required to sit out this season?

Justus Pickett, transfer running back from Maryland, showed some quick feet in drill work. Gillespie said the UT staff expects to know Pickett's eligibility status "pretty soon."

Really excited about this kid, he has a chance to shine in CBJ system.

I wonder what his thoughts are on Maryland losing their RB recently

I follow Maryland pretty closely. This kid is not an SEC (nor ACC) caliber talent. He's depth chart filler.

He's small with mediocre speed and explosiveness.
