Players have played yr round for 13 or more yrs by the time a player hits college. They have been touched by a multitude amount of coaches and attended numerous skills camps. With the limited amount of time college coaches can work with players, I don't they have much affect on individual player development besides possibly putting players in better position to succeed.
Come on man.. Are you telling me that the players Brad Stevens gets at Butler are great players? He coaches the hell out of that team and makes those players what they are.
Gordon Heyward and Shelvin Mack were not highly rated. They now both play in the NBA.
Do they evolve into the players they are if a Wade Houston is their coach? He'll no!
It's sad that Wade automatically comes to mind when thinking if horrid coaches haha.
