Ghosts..... Have you ever seen them?

No.

I have heard giggles coming from what now is my son's closet since we built the home-before he was born. The fingers that I have felt on my back and arm were small and tiny. I have suspected that we had a little girl ghost for a long time. However, the males voice and roses fragrance suggest that we have a man and woman ghost as well.

I am at peace with this since I saw the little girl.

Most of the famous stories about demonic activity start with people seeing/hearing what they believe to be the ghosts of children. I'm going to guess that whatever you have experienced is demonic and is trying to get you to become more involved by acknowledging it and inviting it in to your lives.

I have heard this, too. Don't acknowledge the spirit.

That's what I thought too. I read into a story that I'll post on here later a family heard a little girl crying but never found the little girl. They had a medium come in and the spirt communicated with the medium saying it was lonely. One night the family heard the girl crying again and the wife sounded of loudly saying she was not alone that she could be part of the family.. That's all I can remember. I'll post the rest when I can. I have honeydochoures today.

No we do not.

That is why we have not brought anyone in to investigate. If not done properly the activity can intensify, per a friend in the investigative business.

There is a old cemetery in the dry creek/snows hill area in DeKalb County. This was grounds of the Battle of Snows Hill in the civil war. The cemetery is not accessible by road but only about a 5 minute walk through the woods from the nearest road. I have twice made the walk and each time left amazed/scared.

Care to name the road? That's interesting.

You could reach it from 3 roads technically. Can go from the top of Possum Hollow Rd. Come in from the bottom of Old Snows Hill Rd. Or from the side on Dry Creek Rd. There is 12 graves out in the middle of nowhere in the woods, all but 3 are unmarked. Old Snows Hill seems to be the easiest way to find the gravesites.

Do you happen to pass a house if you're coming from the top of Possum Hollow Rd? It's marked as a trail on google maps but that's the best I'm seeing.

The only place I know of that is supposedly haunted here in Tipton is Old Trinity Church. Me and my brother have thought about going up there every once in awhile just to experience it but never do. Some of my friends have went when we were in HS and told me it was creepy.

If you look on google maps if your on Old Snows Hill locate New Frontiers. You would head towards Hunt Hollow Rd. There is a small trail near New Frontiers that the kids from there have made I guess. It's not really a cemetery I guess, just gravesites. The only place I have been able to find any info online about it is from a book called The History of DeKalb County. It talks about it and explains it a little, but not much information really. It also talks about a skeleton they found in a hollow tree in the area.

Gotcha. I suppose its right before you would get to New Frontiers, because it shows a little trail to the left. What did you see while you were back there?

Go and tell us what you find. :) I wish I wasn't so far away so I could go there.

Two full body apparitions, faint sounds of a woman mourning/weeping. And what really left me confused was hearing the sound that Indians made when going into war, that little scream. I know there was some indian wars in the area but everything ive been able to find indicates those gravesites are from the civil war.

Could you make out the apparitions? And you went at night, I suppose?

Yes at night, full moon both times. One was seen from the back, hat and jacket. The other you could vividly make out his facial features. Could see hat, beard, and what I assume was a pipe.

Will do.

If you're ever up this way and want to go let me know :hi:

I definitely will do. I remember reading that on that website a while ago, and that was one of the stories that stuck out to me. We have a haunting here in Middle Tennessee at Bethbirei Church, it also has a cemetery. I've wanted to visit it for awhile now, and I plan on doing so in the near future. So, if you end up going sometime soon, I'd love to hear what you bring back. :salute:

It sounds like a family graveyard... I'd be interested to see if there are any names on the gravestones or people that claim it to be theirs.

It could be but the 3 that are marked has different initials on it. I would like to take some people that has all the right equipment down there. I believe it would be a hot spot for them.

Interesting. I'm into this type of stuff and lived in dekalb county my whole life. Never heard of this. More info on what left you feeling amazed would be awesome as I could check this out. It's only a few mins away from me.

I have a serious group that would be interested if you would like to have people down there, but they'd need to have permission.

My friends told me when they went, they went inside the Church and saw figures sitting in the pews and heard talking/whispering.

I would like to hear back on the permission as well. If he knows for a fact there is permission I will have to check it out. Can't pass up something like that in my own county.

That gives me chills.

This place seems to be a pretty well kept secret. Growing up as teens you always hear all the stories from ppl about places being "haunted". You go check them out and it's nothing. I never heard any stories about this gravesite growing up.My grandpa grew up on Dry Creek and told me about this place and I left amazed because I never believed in it all until that night. As far as permission goes...I don't know who owns the property. Like I said it's just a small trail that goes through the woods to 12 gravesites. There is nothing around, and never had any trouble out of anybody, but ppl in that area will quickly run you out if your snooping around. I would have no problem taking ppl there but I don't guess we would have actual permission.
