Carload of us went there when we were in high school (DB - early 70s) - we called it the haunted tunnel - story was that the lady's ghost walked through the tunnel swinging her lantern looking for her baby that was killed...if you drove into the tunnel and turned your car and lights off, you might see her...we did and I swear we did! The guy driving just could not get the car started - he cranked and cranked and that light held by that whispy apparition just kept getting closer and closer as we tried to control our breathing and not make any noise until finnallly the engine came to life and we were outta there! I can still smell the dampness and remember thinking am I seeing this - is everyone else seeing this????

I can imagine the adrenaline rush of trying to get your engine cranked as you try to speed off from somewhere.

And if anybody has heard anything of a Bloody Hill in Hartsville/Lafayette, TN area, Please let me know! Supposedly you can go at sun down/night and see the blood stain where people executed slaves on the hill leading to an old slave plantation house and an evil presence is suppose to be felt on the property.
