I think its alot of fun to play and the better you get the more fun it is. I cant see how anyone does expert level.

haha- it's insane trying to keep up in Expert mode. I've stumbled my to about the halfway point in Expert- just barely surviving.

I'm pretty solid in hard mode- cept for a few solos in the last set. Especially that never-ending Freebird solo! That's nasty.

I'm on the last tier of songs on hard. I've done a few songs on expert when I've gotten stuck in hard.

Still love the game. Was up until about 1:30 playing that 'one last time' that began at midnight. But, I finally beat Psycho Billy Freakout, then got YYZ on my first try.

Last tier on hard looks to be a killer. Carry Me Home was kicking my ass straight out of the gate.

i hate psychobilly freakout. I'm stuck on it in Expert. It's nearly impossible.

Gamers absolutely love the Guitar Hero franchise. It simultaneously satisfies their innate desires to rock things in ways generally attributed to hurricanes, while filling the void in their lives reserved primarily for shmups, X-Treme Needlepoint and any other activity that causes spiral fracturing of the metacarpals.
With that said, the track list for the upcoming Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s is kind of a let-down. To wit, a snippet from a press release we just received detailing some newly announced tracks:
18 and Life (as made famous by Skid Row)
Bathroom Wall (as made famous by Faster Pussycat)
Lonely is the Night (as made famous by Billy Squier)
Nothing But a Good Time (as made famous by Poison)
Play With Me (as made famous by Extreme)
Shaken (as made famous by Eddie Money)
Synchronicity II (as made famous by Police)
Maybe it's the elitist in me that cries out for Slint, Dramarama, and the occasional ironic Huey Lewis cover, but the songs included here are the 80s equivalent of My Chemical Romance or Avenged Sevenfold! Oh, wait ...

Bah!! I can think of about 50 Eighties Rock anthems I'd put on there before that crap-tastic list. It's like they sat around and tried to think of the most mediocre 80's songs they could :dunno:

I saw moe. a couple months ago. One of their encore songs was "Can't you Head me Knockin." When I got home, I had to throw it in and jam with it. Some nice guitar parts in the second half.
