One side of mine gets down it the soft meat next to my armpit. That was the rough part. I was so sensitive by the time he finished it was pretty uncomfortable. That is why I have to go back to finish it. Put in some white and touch up the Orange where it needs it.

Oh, by the way Checkerboard, have you ever had someone drag a scorching hot knife down a part of your body? Cause that's what it feels like :)

I didn't find it too bad, actually. It was uncomfortable, but it didn't bother me nearly as much as I thought it would. I was prepared to cry... but I handled it well. :)

I don't have any yet, but my younger sister has a few and it didn't bother her at all, not even a flinch. So suck it up.

Like I said, the first 3 hours was ok. You stab five needles at a time in the same 7 in by 7in area for over four hours straight. ANYBODY will be in pain.

The mask is something I already had there. Tattoos are something that should have meaning and be special to you. I am totally against picking some tribal design of the wall and putting it on your body. And the chinese tats.....PLEASE!! There are tons of people walking around with Pork Fried Rice tattooed on them. And they think it says strength or something.

I have had two children. A daughter that died at birth, and a son that my Ex-wife took off with and I have not seen in six years. So every year on my daughters birthday I have some ink done. either new or work to existing one. So I don't have any put on that do not have their initials in it. You may not see them but I know they are there. It is kind of a zen thing to me. Is a time of reflection, but the pain is something that sort of etches in your soul. The mask was a symbol of the hate and aggression I had inside for the pain of not having my kids. The T is there because it is my passion for UT that keeps the other feelings in check. I keep myself involved in all things orange to occupy my mind and not let it wander to the negative . I have a tribal band on my other arm that I designed that is their initials going all the way around my arm. So you have to have a personal conviction when it comes to ink. It is permanent, I choose to make it a reminder of the things that mean the most to me.

This is probably TMI but i got on a rant. Forgive me if i Rambled.

I think it depends on were you get it. A fleshy body part (like the butt) probably doesn't hurt to bad. But somewhere that is all skin and bone: like the neck, or back- isn't too much fun.

bamahater sorry about the loss of your daughter, and that you haven't seen your son in six years, I hope one day you get to see him.

Mine is on my left shoulder blade area. I want one on my ankle, too.

just for the record, i'm 100% against the tattoo thing. sure they look cool when your young, but it ends up biting you in the arse. someone thats 70 years old with a permanent inking is a completely different story.

I thought about all that before I got mine. I came to the conclusion that it was worth it, because I would get to enjoy it for most of my life... and who knows, I may never live to be 70. Plus, with the location of mine.. I have to wear certain shirts for it to be seen... and I don't imagine I'll be showing that much skin or wearing those kinda shirts when I'm 70. :p

I'd "donate" plasma if there was somewhere within 30 minutes of where I live to.

How come they call it donating when you get paid to do it? It should be called selling plasma.

How big is your Tattoo Vader?

2.5" tall
3.25" wide

It is on my left calf. I kind of wish I had done it on one of my arms, but I filled them before that.

I have 5 tats and I am going to get one more and I am done. I am not symmetric now and that bothers me as an engineer. Symmetry is your friend.

That is a good size. I want mine on my arm though.

I also had an idea to put my wifes and my daughters names around my wrist. One on each and written in old english.

Does that sound like it would work?

as long as it is what YOU want, it will be fine. What you can do if you want it in a certain style, for example if you want something tribal, you can go and get a flash design that you like, get a copy of it, take it home and manipulate the sections to spell or say what you want it to. then it is all yours, just use the carbon copy as a starter pattern.

How about a giant back piece of Fulmer and Chavis demonstrating this "stretching exercise" recently spotted at Vandy's camp...

I'm laughing, but I'm keeping my mouth shut!!:mf_surrender:

I liked the smokey tatoo idea. A good bust of a real smokey. Not a cartoon one. It's amazing what a truly artistic tatter can do. I always wanted a wolf bust. Remeniscent of the wolf art you see in the indian stores around the mountains. Back dropped by some faint mtn landscape and over imposed over a single feathered brave. My other design is taken from old testament tradition of "slaves" piercing their ears to mark their indebtedness to their master. Kind of a cool looking ear tat with a cross style dagger piercing the ear with drops of blood.

GVF, a pic like this? Put a UT dogtag on him and it could work.
