is a BAD thing to do before a game like this.
Georgia had a case of it before they played us.
Ohio State had a case of it before playing Florida.
I'm starting to see the parallels here before the Tenn game, and I think Tenn has too much talent for us to be getting cocky!! I hope we win of course, but this Alabama fan thinks we can certainly still lose this if we're not careful.:ermm:

At least you have better taste than to marry another Bama fan. Don't know if I can say the same about your spouse though. :)

I find it hard to believe that our team will beat you. Maybe we'll compete, but all of the decent teams, and two of the really bad teams, we've played have beaten us.

From the name of the thread I thought that USCe guy was back bragging about his sexual exploits with the USCe mascot.....Uhh...Umm...Guess I was wrong, oh well continue parties :D

They have already forgotten how the 4th quarter points were scored against MSU. In a way I think this is good. People get all worked up expecting a win and then they will be doubly pissed if the Vols lose, which only helps nudge Phillip closer to the exit.

I'm not sure why people are worried about an upset. Cockiness or not. I mean good lord, bama annihilated us last year and this year they are much better. Forget the two last weeks where they haven't played as well. We are a rival and they will be ready. And we are just simply too bad offensively to keep up.

To vol fans saying this will be an upset, please explain who you've been watching all year, b/c it hasn't been UT or Bama.

My family has your family beat. Born and bred a UT fan. Have a sister who married an Auburn fan, and a step-sister who married a Bama fan. Can you say dysfunctional? We have to dumb everything down for those men (no offense).

I, or course, stayed within my class and married a Vols fan. :)

You are right, we will be up, but what so many forget is that SO WILL TENNESSEE!!! I've seen this too many times.
In fact...............who saw us beating you all last year?
BE HOINEST. I was there at the game and my jaw hit the ground several times during that game. I was thinking where in the hell did this team come from???!!!???
The power of a rivalry game that's where.
Don't misunderstand.....I am a very BIG Alabama fan, but I am well aware that Tennessee could show up and show up BIG!!! RESPECT. Gotta have it.

I have seen your offense. It needs work, no doubt.
BUT as I have said before, I think your new QB is only a couple of games away from being good.....REAL good.
For such a young guy and considering what he has been thrown into, you have to give the guy his due.
He plays calm and doesn't seem to get rattled, and makes good solid decisions, the rest will come with time and experince. Your defense is solid and very physical and scares the hell out of me when I think about our second half collapses we have had thus far.
Will we win? I think so.
Will we lose? CERTAINLY a possibility.
